Founded in 2000 and recognised by RENOILS—the national consortium for the collection and treatment of used vegetable and animal oils and fats—SEB handles the collection of used animal and vegetable oils from restaurants in the Triveneto region and their subsequent processing at the Campagna Lupia (VE) facility.

Recently, SEB has expanded its services to include residential oil collection, thanks to agreements with several municipalities in Veneto for the creation of ecological collection points. Data on oil consumption show that improper disposal of used oil is a major source of pollution, whereas it could be recovered and reused for other energy purposes—biodiesel being a prime example.

This is the goal of SEB's new initiative: to involve municipalities in an environmental protection program that both eliminates a source of pollution and allows local governments to power public transport in an eco-friendly and cost-effective way. Many municipalities have already joined the project with very positive results.

SERVIZI S.r.l. handles third-party transportation as well as the collection and transport of Category 1 and 3 by-products from slaughterhouses, butcher shops, farms, processing laboratories, and companies needing to dispose of animal-origin waste. Its fleet includes various vehicles that comply with all regulatory requirements and carry out collections thoroughly across the service area.

CO.GE. SERVIZI S.r.l. is registered under Nr. TS00283 in the ALBO NAZIONALE GESTORI AMBIENTALI of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The company collects and transports used animal and vegetable oils from food service businesses mainly in Friuli Venezia Giulia, and then transfers the waste to companies recognised by RENOILS—for storage at CO.GE. Ecologica s.n.c. in Cordenons (PN) and for processing at the Campagna Lupia (VE) plant.

The main goal is to encourage residential oil collection as well, through agreements with various municipal and provincial authorities. Oil consumption data show that used oil dispersion is a significant pollution source that could instead be recovered and reused for other energy purposes.

The company handles the collection, transport, and management of animal by-products in compliance with Regulation (EC) 1069/2009.
